Mei Leong

Mei Leong

Mei Leong has been a Senior Strategy Analyst for Liberty OneSteel (previously called OneSteel) since 2008. Mei’s responsibilities include forecasting external drivers that impact Liberty OneSteel, market intelligence and insights. Mei is passionate with researching the commodities and steel markets as well as keeping track of the performance of China and other major economies as well as the Australian economy.

Mei has been an active participant of the Raw Materials Committee and Expert Groups for the WorldSteel Association since 2012.

Mei holds a Masters of Business Administration from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours).

Katie Dean

Katie Dean

As a Senior Manager in AustralianSuper’s Fixed Income, Credit and Currency team, Katie leads the team responsible for the investment strategy of the fund’s Fixed Income portfolios. Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Katie spent over a decade as a market strategist and economist with ANZ, including as Head of Australian Economics in the Global Markets business. Katie commenced her career at Commonwealth Treasury.
