Work Health and Safety Act 2011
The ASI held the seminar “Implications of the new Work Health and Safety Act 2011 on Compliance in Construction Steelwork” on Monday 26 November 2012 in Brisbane.
At this important seminar, the ASI through the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and Workplace Health and Safety Qld (part of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General), presented a compelling case for compliance to standards linked to the Queensland Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
During this event Workplace Health and Safety Qld (WHSQ) presented answers to some prepared questions. The ASI now has this response in writing.
