ASI backs National Manufacturing Summit in Canberra this June

The ASI is co-sponsoring a one-day National Manufacturing Summit on 21 June in Canberra hosted by The Centre for Future Work and The Australia Institute to explore the potential of Australian manufacturing to add value to our resources, provide good-quality jobs and diversify Australia’s footprint in global commerce

Join us for this important event at Parliament House on Wednesday June 21 to hear:

• National and international experts on the economic and social importance of manufacturing, and the policies and actions required to sustain and grow it.

• Public opinion researchers on the dimensions of, and reasons for, Australians’ enduring support for manufacturing.

• Political leaders from across the political spectrum on their ideas for converting opportunity into action

The Summit's other co-sponsors are the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union, AustralianSuper, the Australian Workers’ Union, Manufactures’ Monthly, United Voice, UTS Business School and the Welding Technology Institute of Australia.
