Steelwork Compliance Australia (SCA) is an independent body certifying fabricators under the National Structural Steelwork Compliance Scheme (NSSCS). SCA has been awarded JAS-ANZ accreditation to audit and certify to both AS/ANZ 5131 and AS/NZS ISO 3834. Clients can now select fabricators who have been independently assessed as having capability to achieve compliance to the relevant Australian Standards required to complete the Construction Category for their project.
Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA) offers a certification program that provides a clear pathway for steel businesses to be responsible, transparent and sustainable. Launched in January 2023, SSA was developed closely with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and key steel industry stakeholders to produce a program specifically tailored for the range of businesses through the steel supply chain.

ShedSafe is the industry benchmark for Australian manufactured steel sheds. It is a third party accreditation program intended to assist buyers to be able to have confidence in the engineering, steel products and site specification of the steel shed they are purchasing.
ShedSafe is managed by the Australian Steel Institute.
