Brown Steel is a CC3 Certified to AS/NZS 5131:2016 and Gold Certified Environmental Sustainability Charter member. Toowoomba-based, Brown Steel is a specialised steel fabrication & erection firm. Incorporated in 1995, it has grown to now service clients throughout Queensland and Northern NSW. Originally servicing the earthmoving and agricultural industries as a National Code of Practice of Construction (NCOPC) compliant organisation and in accordance with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines August 2009, it has also established itself in structural steel for both private and government sectors. Brown Steel has developed and operates a comprehensive Quality Management Plan in accordance with ISO AS/NZS 9001:2008 - Quality Certification Standard along with policies and procedures in accordance with AS4801 - OH&S and AS 14001 - Environmental Management Standards. The company has since expanded its core business further with the supply of major infrastructure for the resource sector, a sustainable energy sector to further expand market position.
