ASI is providing help to members struggling to understand new Federal Government changes to the National Construction Code (NCC) introduced on May 1, 2023. An ASI steering group is developing technical information to assist members meet:
Sub groups are working on drafting of scope for development of compliance solutions for the various building component areas eg, walling, and roofing. ASI is also negotiating a MoU to cover licensing negotiation for adoption of How-to Guides in Australia.
The information will be released ahead of the start dates to help roll formers and their customers eg, installers, and other tradespeople meet the new requirements.
