The ASI has finished its Dry July campaign for people affected by cancer as the number one workplace fundraising organisation nationally, with $26,100 raised.
Steel industry partner Ahrens Group was Dry July’s third-highest workplace team fund raiser nationally ($10,351) and the ASI fourth with $8,434.
Industry Cladding and Roofing director Grant Wright was the ASI’s biggest individual fund raiser with $2757, with ASI chief executive Mark Cain second with $2,407 and ASI marketing consultant David Mawby third with $1583.
While the campaign has now officially closed, Dry July will continue to accept contributions until the end of August. Click here.
Dry July started life in 2008 with three mates deciding to take a break from alcohol for a month to raise money for cancer. The campaign has since raised $90m.
