BlueScope board member Jane McAloon has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the King’s Birthday honours list for service to the business and energy sectors.
McAloon, who is chair of Energy Australia and a former BHP senior executive, sits on the boards of BlueScope Steel as non-executive director (independent) , Newcrest Mining, Allianz Insurance and law firm Allens.
McAloon spent 10 years in the NSW public service working in energy, rail, forestry and natural resources roles before switching to business.
