Steel reuse explored at ASI Convention

Steel reuse explored at ASI Convention

Latest thinking and techniques on reusing steel will be explored in a benchmark Designing for Deconstruction (DfD) panel discussion at this year’s ASI Steel Convention.

Representatives from Populous, Aurecon, TTW, and Robert Bird Group, will discuss enablers, barriers, challenges, and opportunities for DfD in the Australian construction industry. The panel is part of a strong sustainability focus at the 8-10 September convention, which features the theme, What it takes: Sustainable Building & Infrastructure.

The convention at Brisbane’s Pullman King George Square kicks off on the Sunday with a Combilift-sponsored reception at the Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar. The exciting line-up of presenters and panels will examine cost-effective, sustainable, and resilient steel solutions for architects, engineers, and contractors., with cases studies showcasing steels versatility, reusability, and traceability.
