Structural Challenge achieves Level 3 SSA certification

Structural Challenge first company to achieve SSA L3

Vic-based fabricator Structural Challenge is the first company to achieve Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA) certification to level 3.

The company provides full project management from 3D modelling and detailing, fabrication, and installation. Certification will enable the company to tender for projects mandating tough new sustainable material sourcing/procurement and supply chain management standards.

The SSA certification program is a recognised initiative by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) under its Green Star rating tools.

Structural Challenge compliance coordinator Prasanth Palani said certification would open new business opportunities for the company. “The certification reflects the company's dedication to environmental, social and corporate governance responsibilities and anticipates that it will enhance the company's reputation, opens up new business opportunities, and contribute to long-term business growth".
