NSW members and guests were recently invited to attend a networking event in Parramatta which included an opportunity to hear expert speakers share their insights and experiences.
Paul Bartholomew, Lead Analyst Metals Analytics from the S&P Global ‘Platts’ Commodity Insights team, delivered a presentation on the Global Steel markets. This included China’s steel consumption, changing steel production base and the potential impact on steel exports.
This was followed by a panel discussion on the experience of grant funding for Investment in new manufacturing technology and the positive impacts on a business’ bottom line.
David Thorn, Banjo Loans Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, wrapped up the event with providing some practical solutions on Financing investment in your business.
