Webinar Outline - total of 1 hour and 35 minutes duration
Part 1 looks at the context first and fit engineering for good outcomes into the complete project lifecycle.
Part 2 focuses on how a good outcome is predicated on understanding what economical design looks like and how to leverage this with value engineering.
Part 3 looks at the Construction Specification as the mechanism to translate engineering intent to the supply chain. Important details that have been addressed in the latest revision of AS 4100, being architecturally exposed structural steelwork and lamellar tearing is also discussed.
Part 4 covers the project implementation phase. Looking at quality assurance, compliance and finally certification to round out the presentation.
The presentation is particularly focused on engineers and other stakeholders including architects, product suppliers, steel detailers and constructors who all have a part to play in ensuring a well formed and documented design is provided to the fabricator for execution as the final steel structure.
