Women in STEM internship program

Women in STEM Internship Program - seeking expressions of interest

ASI is partnering with the University of Wollongong (UoW) to introduce a new internship program for women. The leadership, internship, friendship, transition (LIFT) internship is for women currently enrolled at UoW in Masters or PhD studies in subjects concerned with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

If selected as an industry partner, the program allows you to:

  • host an intern for up to three months at no cost by accessing the LIFT scholarship, with an option to extend this to six months with a $10,000 contribution from the industry partner
  • gain access to a highly capable person who is trained to undertake research into complex problems
  • support the careers of women in STEM, and thereby foster diversity and inclusion in your workplace

The administrative aspects of the internship are being managed by APR.Intern. To visit the APR.Intern website, click here

If you are interested in knowing more about this program and/or lodging an expression of interest, please reply by COB Friday 1st September to Georgia Watson: georgiaw@uow.edu.au
